Perhaps some Rosemary-infused Hummus, Sun-dried Tomato Basil Pesto, and feta, alongside fresh veggies, whole wheat pitas, and whole grain crackers.
And, of course, this delicious tapenade! 🙂
Much like hummus, tapenade is one of those things that I used to imagine must involve a long and complex process to make. Â After all, it tastes amazing and it’s usually pretty pricey…so it must be hard to make…right??
Thankfully, no!
In fact, you can enjoy tapenade (and hummus!) in a matter of mere minutes, right from the comfort of your own kitchen!
So, what do you say?? Â Why not give the oven — and yourself — a night off!
Kalamata Basil Tapenade
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups Kalamata Olives
- 1 clove fresh garlic, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh basil
- 2 T capers
- 1 T fresh lemon juice
- Pinch of crushed red pepper
