Searching for an all-natural nommy frosting??
Then, baby, have I got a recipe for you!
This frosting is perfect for your favorite cake (like this double chocolate cake), cupcakes, scones…you name it! It also makes an awesome fruit dip. Or, when in need of a quick chocolate fix, enjoy it straight up on its own.
Nom, nom, nom!!
Sugar-Free Chocolate Frosting
Ingredients:
- 3 super ripe bananas
- 3/4 cup pure unsweetened cocoa powder (or even a little more…if you like it super rich, like I do!)
- 4 T all natural nut butter (cashew, almond, peanut…whatever suits your mood!)
- 3/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and mix until smooth.
Store in an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use.
Lick your food processor clean.
I mean…ahem…did you say something?
*sigh* um… yum. We need to live near each other. 😉
“Mom, can I have chocolate cake?” “Absolutely not, it’s not even lunch time!” “… but it’s Aunt Tonya’s!” “Oh, then that’s ok then. …and bring me some, too!”
I seriously need to find a sprouted flour supplier so I can try out all these yummy recipes!!
I soooooooo wish we lived closer, too!! We would have so much fun!! AND we could make lots of Town Talk trips together. 🙂
Even if you don’t have the flour you want…you can always just eat the frosting by itself…not that I would know anything about that… 😉
