Say goodbye to all of your processed, chemical-laden cream cheese frosting of the past!
Healthy Yogurt Cheese Frosting
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup yogurt cheese (make your own!), brought to room temperature (you can substitute with cream cheese, if needed, but be on the lookout for additives [i.e. nonfood] in the ingredients)
- 5 oz. ripe banana (about 1/2 very large banana), mashed
- 1/4 cup plus 2 T raw coconut butter (or make your own!), melted
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Stir all of the ingredients together in a large bowl. Once blended, whip with an electric mixer until fluffy.
If desired, place the frosting in a zip-top sandwich bag. Cut the tip off one of the bottom corners of the bag. Gently push the frosting out of the cut tip and swirl it onto cupcakes or any nommy confection of your choice! You may want to start with these deliciously moist (and addictive!)
