Looking for a nutritious, creamy, chocolate treat that can be made in a matter of seconds??
Look no further! 🙂
That’s right. Â Not only is this pudding super yummy, but it’s also a breeze to make!
This came in especially handy for me and the hubby a few days ago. Â We were preparing to leave for our annual Feast of Tabernacles. Â The Feast of Tabernacles is something we anticipate more than anything else each year…but the time leading up to it usually keeps us insanely busy while we prepare to leave for almost two weeks!
When it comes to food, this often leads to two things:
- The need to use up any and all perishables.
- The need for only quick, easy, and delicious meals.
Lucky for us, this delectable pudding fit the bill perfectly!
Avocado Chocolate Pudding
(Serves 1 to 2)
Ingredients:
- 1 fresh, ripe avocado
- 1 small, ripe banana
- 2 to 3 T pure, unsweetened cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 3 T milk
- Raw cacao nibs or dark chocolate chips, for sprinkling (optional)
Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender, and blend until smooth and creamy. Â Top with cacao nibs, if desired.
That’s all there is to it!  Dig in!! 🙂
This sounds very interesting. I have never heard of using avocados in this way. I will have to try it out. I don’t like bananas in things so I will try leaving out. Hope recipe will still work well.
Thanks so much for stopping by, Kathleen! I hope you like the pudding! The banana is mainly for a bit of extra nutrition and sweetening. So, you may want to add a sweetener of your choice! 🙂
